How to request deletion of your data
Meta requires every app on the WhatsApp Business Platform to publish a single, findable address where a person can ask for their data to be deleted. This is that page.
Who should use this page
- An end user who messaged a business over WhatsApp and wants the record of
that conversation removed.
- A business customer of ITD Communications who is closing their account and
wants their workspace and its message history erased.
You do not need an account with us to make a request, and we do not charge for it.
How to ask
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line Data deletion request, and tell us:

If you are a business customer closing an account, say so — the scope is different, and we will confirm it with you in writing before anything is erased.
How long it takes

What happens next
- We acknowledge your request by email.
- We verify that the request comes from the number or the account it concerns. This step exists to protect you: without it, anyone could erase someone else's records.
- We delete the data and confirm in writing when it is done.
Two limits, stated plainly
We may act as a processor, not the owner. Where the data belongs to one of our business customers, the law makes them the controller and us the processor. In that case we forward your request to them and act on their instruction. We will tell you when this applies and who the business is.
Some records survive deletion. Where a specific law requires us to keep a record — accounting and tax records, for example — that record is retained for the period the law sets and then deleted. We will say so if it applies to you.
